Girl, Interrupted

Girl, Interrupted is a classic written by Susanna Kaysen showing the inner-workings of a young girls mind. It explores the real idea of mental institutions in the 1960's.

I read Girl interrupted in one sitting. On a random uneventful Sunday I was able to knock out the entire book due to being so intrigued. I know many don't have this attention span and quite frankly I didn't know I could do that until after I had finished the book. The different issues each of the characters have and how they deal with them changed my perspective on my own life and how in depth life really is.

I would recommend this to many but maybe not if you get uneasy thinking about uncomfortable subjects. I would rate this a 6.7/10.

You can find this on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, and other bookstores!

Stay geeky :)
